I came back again to take more time to read all the links. I remember reading many of them before, but sorry to say, I only commented on one before now. Sometimes, I think it takes longer for what we read to sink in. I really remember reading the WAIL post and alternately smiling at the humor and being touched by the deep emotion, and sort of ending up speechless, just pondering. What you wrote for your friend and the arrival of her baby was beautiful. I can only imagine how much it meant to her to receive it.
Love the birthday pictures and the pure joy beaming out from them! Happy Birthday, sweet boy, and Congrats, Mom and Dad!
My “baby” turns 19 in October…

Yes! We have a little bit of catching up to do. (One letter does not a relationship make, of course!) I can’t wait to hear more about MT. I wonder what the differences are that you would describe between folks there and here. (Good blog post.) love you.

What I love about your list is that you wrote about all of those things this summer – I remember – and that is a wonderful example to me.

Yes, I’m a bit surprised at how this blog has become a keeper of memories both big and small. It’s a gift I give myself. (Which is something I have to remind myself over and over when it’s late on Tuesday night and I *still* haven’t posted!) 😉
